First time staying at Stein Lodge and I will be back!

This was my first experience at Stein Eriksen Lodge and it was over the top in so many ways. Starting with the 5 star service that you can feel as soon as you are greeted to the hotel, that same service carries throughout the experience with every interaction with staff. A few of my favorite thing about the hotels are private hot tubs on your private balcony, keep in mind that this amenity only comes with some room types but it is a game changer and I highly recommend it. It has set a new standard for me when planning ski trips in the future. Wood burning fireplaces in the room and throughout the hotel create a unique ambiance you can only get with wood burning fires. The ski in/out location is super convenient whether you are trying to get to the steep terrain or meet up with friends at the main base. The history makes this hotel really standout. Stein Lodge oozes with authenticity, has a great story is one of the greatest true ski lodges in ski country.

Utterly incredible

I stayed at the Stein Eriksen for two nights last March, and from the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. From a breezy check-in process to the lovely tour around the property that all guests are offered, I was completely impressed by how exemplary the service was at every turn.

Our room was gorgeous, with a fantastic view over the mountains, and a private hot tub on the deck (seriously, you'll want to spring for one of these rooms - relaxing for hours just steps from your own room is a must for any luxury trip to Deer Valley!). The bathrooms were huge, robes were provided, and anything else we needed was just a quick phone call away. The buffet breakfast, by the way, was delicious and ENORMOUS.

Since the lodge is small, especially compared to the Montage, you get super personalized service, and every employee that I interacted with greeted me personally by name, which I loved!

All in all, one of my favorite ski lodges in the west. Spectacular service, unbeatable location, and amazing, spacious rooms. You can't do better than the Stein!

Wow

The last week in March, I stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. What an amazing experience.  From the moment I arrived, the service was exemplary with a friendly genuine feeling. There was nothing that was missed. It was true five-star service.  They have slope-side lockers for each room.  I skied other mountains the first few days. I never even knew where my locker was as they carried my skis from the moment I arrived.  The day I skied Snowbird I borrowed the Cadillac crossover which is available for 6 or 12 hours for a nominal fee. The included breakfast buffet was gourmet. The different eggs Benedict every morning were the best I've ever had along with the maple bacon. There are also healthy options.  On the last day when I was skiing Deer Valley I got to the locker room and realized I forgot my lift pass. Without missing a beat they knew who I was what room I was in and before I even had my boots on they were back with my lift ticket.  My skis were waiting on the snow pointing down hill with poles at the ready.
