    Innsbruck Expert Skiing

Experts will definitely want to head to the famed Stubai Glacier, which is access from the town of Neustift. The glacier, which tops out at over 9,000 feet, sees the best snow conditions and usually offers skiers and snowboarders summer skiing or riding. The Glacier offers everything from World Cup training runs to terrain parks and boardercross courses, and of course, some uncontrolled, off-piste zones for adventure-seekers. Offering 68 miles of skiing, the Stubai Glacier is an ideal spot for advanced to expert families, as there’s a little bit of everything there, including a children’s center and fun park.

Kuhtai, is a smaller area, and sees smaller crowds making it the perfect place for powder hunters for many reasons. The resort is also among Austria’s highest, at 8,000-plus feet, so good snow conditions are nearly guaranteed.  Adventurers will appreciate the many ski-tour routes in this area, as well as some exceptional off-piste terrain.

Those looking to reach high speeds and enjoy perfectly groomed, steep slopes, will want to head to Glungezer—home to the longest downhill run in the entire Tyrol region.
